PCC Completes
The Spa @ Marriott Sawgrass Resort
PCC Press Release
– February 2005
Ponte Vedra, FL
February 2005: When an extremely tight and aggressive
schedule and the elegant high end finishes you expect from a
state of the art spa with Marriott’s name on it combine in a new
construction project you can expect total chaos, not so when the
PCC team working for Welbro Building Corporation mobilized to
complete the finishes on this project in approx 8 weeks. PCC
performed all interior and exterior painting and wall covering
as well as the application of level 5 “spray plast” to all
interior GWB ceilings. The result, a world class spa facility in
Ponte Vedra, FL completed on time within budget and a final
punch list that was virtually non-existent. Thanks to the hard
work of the PCC team headed up by Warren Duke (General Foreman)
and Dennis Gianelli (Site Foreman) and the professional Welbro
Team of site superintendents and project managers this project
was a joy to be apart of.

Hat Trick of Super Target Stores!
PCC-Press Release
Sanford, FL
February 2005: The Grand Opening of the new Super Target
Sanford, FL marks the completion of the 3rd store in
a row for PCC which also completed Viera, FL and Kissimmee, FL.
These incredible superstores feature over 100,000 sq. ft. of
Target dept stores combined with a grocery store, Starbucks,
Pizza Hut Express an Optical Store and Exam Rooms in 2 of the 3
locations. PCC’s scope included all interior and exterior
painting, texture coatings and waterproofing totaling over 3500
gallons of Tex-Cote materials and 6 miles of urethane joint
sealants. The redesign of the interiors included sales floor
walls which are now Target Red in an eggshell finish as well as
multiple accent walls, wall coverings and murals. As usual the
incredibly fast paced construction schedule of these stores left
little room for any error and PCC met the challenge head on and
completed all three projects on time and the end result is
“excellence”. PCC Team Members include Warren Duke (General
Foreman), Mary Smith, Michael Paler, Dennis Gianelli, Eduardo
Ramirez, Gentil Gaspard and Fedor Etienne.
Great Job PCC.
Waterproofing
Project Right up PCC’s Alley
PCC-Press Release
March 9, 2005
Deland, FL: PCC completed the final buildings of Blue Lake
Elementary School in Deland, FL in late February. This project
consisted of 12 individual brick buildings that had never been
painted prior to this project. The school had had water
intrusion problems for years even prior to the hurricanes of
2004. PCC performed chemical and pressure cleaning of all the
buildings and roof structures as well as all of the canopy
systems. After cleaning and removal of dirt and mildew PCC
removed & replaced all existing joint sealants, removed loose
brick mortar and tuck pointed the building then applied a
bonding primer and 2 coats of Elastomeric waterproofing to all
12 buildings. The result, RAVING FANS the faculty and staff at
the school, some with 30 years with the Volusia County School
Board say they have never experienced a project with this kind
of professionalism and quality in workmanship. They say the PCC
work force was courteous and polite and very conscious of the
school that remained in session. The entire project went very
smoothly even though the weather conditions were not always
ideal.
This kind of
excellence could only be achieved by an incredible PCC team of
mechanics headed up by James Lee, Site Foreman.
